My latest trip to El Salvador was a success! It fills my heart with gratitude to be of service to the Martinez family! 🙏

El Salvador 2022 Trip was a SUCCESS!
I was greeted at the airport by the entire family! We went to the family's house for refreshments and they had a welcome banner made for me. I felt very honored! 🥰
The moms business is doing well with the money we invested. She pointed to a part of the house that she was able to improve with some of the money she's been making. Also she reinvests the profits of her business to keep things afloat.
I'm excited to report that the family has bought their very first vehicle!! They are going to use it for a taxi service picking people up from the airport and taking tourists around as a guide in the country. Also I was able to contribute 35% of their car note with donor money to make it easier on the family financially.
I also enrolled Francisco Martinez and Alejandro Martinez in driving school to get their licenses! Super exciting stuff!! I helped my friend Anibal Escobar who is teaching English to three of the boys in the family with his surf school by bringing down 5 brand new soft top longboards in trade for continuing to teach English lessons. They are currently in their 9th month of learning and making progress.
I surfed every day, went to waterfalls, and hung out with the family a bunch. We had meals together and meetings to talk about all of what we are doing. It was hard to say goodbye but I'll be back at some point in the near future. Many thanks to everyone for your support in making this happen. I couldn't have done it without all of you! 🙏❤ Casey

Driving & Giving Back to those in need. . .
In 2017 I took my first trip to El Salvador. It was a chance encounter that I was surfing on the beach and I met Francisco. He was taking photographs of surfers and other tourists to sell to them to make money. Although we had a language barrier, we were able to become friends and share our passion for surfing. We kept in touch and I saw him again during my second trip in 2018.
During the COVID pandemic in 2020, Francisco reached out to me and asked if I could help him and his family as the country’s tourism business came to a halt and eliminated his family’s income. Inspired to combine my career as a private chauffeur with helping others in need, I decided to become a business owner and started Driving with a Purpose.
Since our launch in 2021, a percentage of our profits is given to the company’s foundation, along with direct donations, to help disadvantaged individuals and families in Central America, starting with the Martinez family.
With your help, we give individuals and families a chance to gain long-term independence, a sense of purpose, more life choices, and help break the cycle of poverty. By utilizing our private chauffer service, you help fund basic needs and essentials, including healthcare, education, and business training. Thank you for your support.
Vitamin Shopping for Grandma
My last trip to El Salvador was in May 2021. We were able to shop for food and also much needed vitamins for Yennefer's "Abuela!"
We are providing a tutor to teach English to the family!
We hired English teacher Anibal to teach the boys English multiple times per week. They are motivated and enjoying the process. We are very proud of them!
